Aspiring tattoo artists and piercers, prepare to attend a true Academy of Art!
No longer a niche job based solely on practice and experience, but a comprehensive theoretical and practical training program that will prepare you 360 degrees for this increasingly widespread profession, which demands growing skills in both artistic and technical areas, as well as marketing and client management.
Professional training for tattoo and piercing professionals now includes longer programs rich in new subjects to offer new competencies.
WHAT DOES THE NEW REGULATION ENTAIL AND WHAT DOES MILANO TATTOO SCHOOL OFFER?
The new directives have established that the training course required to practice as a tattoo artist or piercer will be a total of 1500 hours, of which 1000 hours will be theoretical and practical activities conducted at our accredited facility, and 500 hours of workshop or internship to be completed at our facility or in structures located in the Lombardy region.
If you have an esthetician’s diploma, 50% of the total hours will be discounted, and you will need to complete a 750-hour course (including 500 hours of theoretical/practical subjects and 250 hours of internship/workshop).
It will be valid in all regions of Italy and almost all of Europe.
The 500 internship hours can be wholly or partially replaced by practical activity hours to be carried out at the accredited institution’s workshop.

At the end of the program, you will be able to enter the workforce fully trained and on par with the best studios in the industry.

Through adequate preparation in disciplines ranging from drawing to painting, marketing to shop management, tattoo history to practical techniques and tools workshops, English to hygiene and dermatology fundamentals, students develop a deep and practical understanding of this art.
Students become Tattoo Artists, highly qualified and specialized individuals capable of combining technique, passion, talent, and knowledge, thus establishing themselves in the modern tattoo world.
Future Master Tattoo Artists will be able to identify as true artists with their most congenial style and present themselves to the tattoo world with a unique impact of style and quality. e) Workplace Safety Certificate
At the end of the course, the student will meet all regulatory requirements for tattoo artists and piercers.
