class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">First of all, to <strong>become a professional tattoo artist<\/strong>, you need to have certain <strong>intrinsic skills<\/strong>, such as manual dexterity, taste, and a basic artistic inclination.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">However, these skills alone are not enough: it is also mandatory to meet <strong>fundamental requirements<\/strong> to correctly follow the regulatory process. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Below, we analyze the essential steps to <strong>enter the tattooing profession<\/strong> and turn it into a long and successful career.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The training needed to become a professional tattoo artist<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The first requirement to start a career as a tattoo artist is to be <strong>at least 18 years old<\/strong> and hold a <strong>middle school diploma<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The next step, mandatory by law (Regional Law no. 13 of July 23, 2021), is to <strong>obtain Regional Certification<\/strong>, valid throughout the national and European territory, by attending a <strong>1,500-hour professional course.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The course is divided into: <\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>750 hours of theory with classroom lessons<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>250 hours class=\"wp-block-heading\">Mandatory refresher training for professional tattoo artists<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Once you officially become a professional tattoo artist, the training path doesn&#8217;t stop, but continues in the form of <strong>constant updates.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All operators who perform tattooing activities must attend a <strong>mandatory 24-hour <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tattooschoolmilano.com\/corsi-aggiornamento-tatuaggio-piercing\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>refresher course<\/strong><\/a><strong> every 3 years<\/strong> to continue practicing their profession according to the law in force, under penalty of sanctions, fines, and revocation of the operating
