Owner and founder, along with her husband Dimitri Daleno, of the Officina Studio tattoo parlor, which opened in 2005 in the heart of Milan on Corso Buenos Aires. A lover of drawing since childhood, she graduated from art high school, pursuing her dream of becoming a professional tattoo artist. She apprenticed for a few years at a Milanese tattoo studio, starting from the ground up, and fulfilled her dream by opening her own studio. She has participated in various conventions and collaborated with numerous artists who have enriched her artistic background. Her Style: Many colors blended together, in a pictorial tattoo style inspired by nature. This is what she prefers to tattoo after years of studying and representing various styles. MARCO LARI
Resident Tattoo Artist AT OFFICINA STUDIO STYLE: BLACK AND WHITE FIGURATIVE
Marco Lari was born in Milan on July 27, 1978. Falling in love with drawing, in his adolescence he began creating tattoo designs and consulting the first industry magazines. After getting his first tattoo at 23, he finally decided to buy his first machine. He became a professional tattoo artist in 2005 at Angelo Colussi’s Quetzal Tattoo in Milan, where he worked until the summer of 2010. He has worked at Pietro Sedda’s The Saint Mariner in Milan, Katia and Dimitri’s Officina Studio in Milan, Giancarlo Capra’s Il Pellerossa Tattoo Studio in Lodi, Stizzo’s Best Of Times in Milan, Michelangelo Cornini’s Built Strong in Milan, and currently works at Katia and Dimitri’s new Officina Studio location in Milan. His style is a fusion of the softness of shaded black and white figurative art and the cleanliness and strength of traditional tattooing. He has collaborated with Miss Arianna and Mauro Tampieri’s Skinwear Tattoo, with Mojo Tattoo, Vlady Positive Vibration, and Samuele Briganti Drum Tattoo. He participates in various Tattoo Conventions, including Milan, Rome, Naples, Trieste, Florence, Barcelona (Spain), and Sacramento (California), and artistic events such as Andrea Pallocchini’s Contestarte and Fabio Gargiulo and Miss Juliet’s Overlap. It all started with a tattoo book bought in the 80s: “The Donkey and the Zebra,” by Gippi Rondinella. I spent entire nights studying it, until I embarked on a trip to Amsterdam, where in 1987 I got my first tattoo. From there, my passion became uncontrollable, and in Milan, I also started frequenting the studios of the most esteemed young tattoo artists of those years: Angelo Colussi of Quetzal first, and then Claudio Pittan. In Claudio’s studio, I became familiar with Japanese culture, also learning the oriental tattoo style, to the point of making it a distinctive element of my work. I was fortunate to train in the early 90s, frequenting, among many, tattoo artists like Grifo and Mark Lee, sharing personal experiences, not just professional ones: those were years when being a tattoo artist was a lifestyle.
